Our Story:

Ishani Nandedkar is the founder of Soulish. She has done her graduation from Symbiosis University, Pune, and then went on to study Interior Design in Florence, Italy. She worked for a few years in various design firms but, ultimately, found Yoga to be her true calling. A Yoga Alliance USA certified Yoga teacher, Ishani is trained in traditional Hatha Yoga from Rishikesh and Kerala in India. She is also a certified Sivananda Yoga teacher and a certified Pregnancy Yoga teacher. Her sincere passion for Yoga turned into her profession when she started Soulish by Ishani in January 2017 in her hometown, Nagpur. Ishani is also a health and wellness blogger. Yogafy Your Life

Yoga classes taught by Ishani help build a strong core from which one can transition into new positions and exercises. The classes center around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. Certified Pregnancy Yoga Program

Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga classes are conducted under the guidance of an expert, Pregnancy Yoga certified teacher. Pregnancy Yoga classes are tailor-made for every new mother according to her mind and body.

The Ambiance of studio is soothing & Peaceful. The Meditation along with light relaxing music sets the tone for the day. The focus is mainly on relaxation of mind & body rather than doing exhausting yoga poses. Coming to instructor, She is a great yoga teacher. The small things which she tells during meditation helps in concentration. She has made yoga accessible for the beginner as well and the more seasoned practitioner. ISHANI CAN LITERALLY PUT THE BREATH BACK IN YOUR BODY. I'm not kidding. She can make you forget all the stress arising of your endless to-do lists while simultaneously preparing you to handle all of it. For those of us who had forgotten to take care of our bodies, who cannot imagine syncing our rhythms with all the machines at the gym, who need our trainer to be careful around our mental health - this studio is a rewarding place. The ambience, music, soothing smell of lemongrass encourage you to stretch your limits as you follow Ishani's clear instructions. FAQ's :

What should I wear for the class?

Wear comfortable clothing which is light and non-restrictive. T-shirts, shorts and sweatpants are recommended.

What should I bring to the class?

We provide yoga mats. You can bring a napkin and a water bottle.

Can we eat before the class?

Ideally, there should be a gap of 2.5 hours between meals and yoga practice.

Will I lose weight?

Yoga is a holistic practice meant for knowing oneself better. But in the process you do lose weight and internal organs get healthier.

What if I'm not flexible?

Don't worry. You will gain flexibility and strength with regular practice.

Is there a class etiquette?

We expect decency in speech and conduct. Yoga is about discipline, so come to the class on time. Smartphones should be kept on silent mode.

Can I join classes in between the month?

Yes. You can join anytime subject to availability of space.
